9 News HD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the 12th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 12) will begin on March 18, 2027, and continue until May 2, 2027. All eight franchises will take part in the tournament, giving cricket fans another season of exciting T20 action.

The PCB confirmed the dates on October 8 after discussions with the owners and representatives of all eight teams. The decision was made following a meeting of the PSL Governing Council in London on September 1, 2026.

PSL 12 will follow the expanded eight-team format introduced in the previous season. The 2026 edition brought two new franchises into the competition and featured the league’s first player auction, replacing the earlier draft system.

Peshawar Zalmi won the previous season after defeating Hyderabad Kingsmen by five wickets in the final at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The team will now look to build on that success, while the other franchises will aim to challenge for the title in 2027.

With the tournament dates confirmed, fans can now look forward to further announcements about team squads, player signings and the auction process. The PCB and PSL management are expected to share more details as preparations continue.

However, the complete match schedule, venues and ticket information have not yet been announced. Fans will need to wait for official updates to learn when and where their favourite teams will play.
