New Petrol and Diesel Rates Announced in Pakistan

9 News HD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced another reduction in petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan, providing some relief to consumers facing high fuel costs.
According to the latest notification, petrol prices have been reduced by Rs9.41 per litre. Following this cut, the new petrol price stands at Rs352.59 per litre, down from Rs362.
The price of high-speed diesel has also been reduced by Rs5.56 per litre. After the latest adjustment, diesel will now cost Rs382.25 per litre instead of Rs387.81. The revised prices came into effect on November 6, 2026.
This is the fourth consecutive reduction in petroleum prices, bringing further relief to people who depend on fuel for their daily travel and work.
The reduction in petrol prices is expected to help motorcycle users, car owners and rickshaw drivers manage their travel expenses. Meanwhile, the lower diesel rate may provide some relief to transport operators, farmers and businesses that rely on diesel-powered vehicles and machinery.
Diesel is widely used by buses, trucks and tractors across the country. A reduction in its price could help lower transport and farming costs, although the impact on fares and the prices of goods will depend on how businesses respond.
The latest cut comes amid changes in international oil prices and the government's fuel pricing mechanism. Consumers will be hoping that further reductions will bring more relief in the coming days.
