According to a press release issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, a number of key roads in Sargodha city will be constructed or rehabilitated at a cost of Rs175.79 million. The package covers Dairy Road, Azad Road, New Urdu Bazaar Road, Grain Market Road, Pilot School Road and Ara Market Road.

The rehabilitation of Khayam Chowk Overhead Bridge has also been approved, with Rs88.981 million allocated for the project.

Another major scheme involves the rehabilitation of the route connecting Johar Colony Road with Fatima Jinnah Road through Gillwala Railway Crossing and Haripurah Bridge. The project has been estimated at Rs228.674 million.

The authorities have further approved rehabilitation work on the road from Shama Chowk to Stadium Gate, including the link road leading to Cheema Heart Centre, at an estimated cost of Rs164.645 million.

Similarly, Rs127.715 million has been earmarked for the rehabilitation of Main Bazaar Bhagtanwala Road and the Lahore Road-Bhirowal-Kot Momin Link Road.
